Mental Health is a person’s condition with regard to their psychological and emotional well-being. Mental illness is a condition that affects a person’s thinking, feeling, or mood. Such conditions may affect someone’s ability to relate to others and function each day.

Developmental Disabilities Funded Agencies

Developmental/Intellectual Disability involves impairments of general mental abilities that impact adaptive functioning in three domains: conceptual (language, reading, writing, math, reasoning, knowledge, and memory), social (empathy, social judgment, interpersonal communication skills, ability to make and retain friendships), and practical (personal care, job responsibilities, money management, recreation, and organizing school and work tasks).

Substance Use Disorders

Substance Use Disorder describes a problematic pattern of using alcohol or another substance that results in impairment in daily life or noticeable distress.
